A DYNAMIC KEY ENCRYPTION ALGORITHM BASED ON COUPLED CHAOTIC SYSTEMS

ABSTRACT

Tiny Encryption Algorithm was developed at Cambridge University in the UK with the requirements of being extremely small yet strong .It is a 64 bit block algorithm using 128 bit key.TEA is truly simple ,cryptographic weaknesses have been found and the number of rounds required to keep it secure may make it less suitable
The TEA is the abbrevation for the  Tiny Encryption Algorithm and the length of plaintext and cipher text are 64 bits, length of secrete key is 128 bits

The seminar proposes a new dynamic key encryption algorithm based on coupled chaotic systems. This algorithm improves the system security, guarantees the system key space ,and realises the idea of one-time pad. With the merits such as fast operation speed ,high security performance ,non extra distortion, precise restoration, the algorithm extremely suits to the WEB encryption. The chaos based cryptographic algorithms have suggested some new and efficient ways to develop secure image encryption techniques.Towards this direction, this seminar presents efficient chaos based feedback strem cipher (ECBFSC)for text cryptosystems .The proposed stream cipher is based on the use of chaotis logistic map and an external secret key of 256-bit.The initial conditions for the chaotic map are derived using the secret key by providing weightage to its bits corresponding to their position in the key.
